WHAT IS MODEL UNITED NATIONS?
Model United Nations (also Model UN or MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy, and the United Nations' agenda. Through in-depth research and exploration into the politics, societies, and cultures of various nations, students (aka delegates) represent their chosen nation in UN committees or the General Assembly.
ABOUT US
UNF MUN is a student lead organization that meets weekly to prepare to compete at conferences across the state and nation. With many awards under our belt from across the country, you can be sure that we are the team to beat. Here you will find students of all levels of experience who are interested in the UN and international affairs, along with many senior members who are more than willing to lend a helping hand to new members. We welcome all Ospreys regardless of class, major, or experience with MUN. We proudly represent our University with the best group of people on campus! SWOOP!
OUR LEADERSHIP
Elected annually at the end of the Spring Semester, our officers are responsible for running meetings, managing club finances, and communicating information to you. Please reach out if you have any questions comments or concerns about anything MUN related!
